Leuze - To the “PIN” Point!
If you’re looking for solutions for a wide range of applications, Leuze is the right place for you. Whether it’s high precision or extreme environmental conditions like cleaning processes, deep-freeze environments, or high-speed switching sensors—Leuze always offers a fitting solution.
Thanks to Leuze’s innovative light source technology, even more interesting options are now within reach with PinPoint LEDs. This powerful optical technology is an excellent addition to the standard (infrared and red) LEDs and laser LEDs. PinPoint LEDs are more cost-effective than laser options and offer a narrow red light beam that sits perfectly between standard and laser light sources.
In many cases, PinPoint sensors can replace more expensive laser sensors. For example, these sensors are often used for positioning or for precisely “focusing” on very small components. The reliable background suppression ensures that they detect exactly up to the desired distance and no further!
For retro-reflective photoelectric sensors, these sensors provide higher system reserves, especially when using small reflectors. Setup and alignment are quick and easy, allowing you to get started right away.
Available Individually or as a Set?
For various applications, sensor sets are available. This way, you only need to enter one item number in your order to receive the sensor, including a mounting bracket and, if needed, a reflector. These could be standard photoelectric sensors in various models, but also special versions, such as a sensor that can easily be screwed to a crossbeam under a pallet conveyor and detects passing pallets. Previously, an ultrasonic sensor was often used for this purpose, aimed at a metal plate to relay the signal—an elaborate and often more costly solution! Leuze sensors are standardly equipped with a filter to prevent interference from high-frequency lighting fixtures.

Leuze - The mini Safety Laser Scanner RSL200Read moreThe smallest scanner ever is now available, about the size of an orange: suitable for the highest safety level PLd/Cat.3/SIL2 and offering optimal ease of use, not only in stationary installations.
-
Leuze - Always safe!Read moreTo protect people around dangerous workplaces, Leuze has been implementing safety for decades and protects with light barriers, safety switches and safety laser scanners. When periodic action is required and mechanical guards such as fences are not desired, these optical guards offer exactly what is needed.

Leuze - Give me a tough questionRead moreIn industrial automation, sensors are the eyes and ears of the machine or plant. By far the most commonly used binary switching sensors are inductive and optical. Inductive sensors are well suited to technical applications that require metal detection, such as monitoring start or end positions, valve position or speed controls. Optical sensors, however, have a much wider range of applications.

Leuze - 3C SeriesRead moreThe size of a sugar cube in our 3C Series of sensors: the ODT3CL1 laser distance sensor up to 2 metres accurate! Within this Series/design are many function principles in various versions. Characteristic are the many variants (in terms of sensing principle, - optics, - connection technology or - specific applications filling in) which often also feature integrated IO Link communication.

Van Meer - Quick Connection for Energy StorageRead moreDrive specialist Van Meer developed an energy storage system for heavy-duty drives and designed a custom battery system for it. For the connectors in the battery system’s cabinet, their regular supplier itsme recommended omni-brand partner Phoenix Contact. Excellent connectors — only the frame didn’t fit. Phoenix Contact quickly developed a customer-specific connector design. itsme now supplies Van Meer with complete connector sets, including the custom plug.

Avebe - A Good Night’s Sleep Thanks to FactoryScanRead moreCompanies often have no clear idea of the installed base of industrial automation in their factories and warehouses. With FactoryScan, itsme can provide an overview of the current status of automation components such as PLCs. Potato processor Royal Avebe uses the results to update their component stock and assess future availability. The scan is intended to reduce the number of hardware-related disruptions Process Control Engineer Johan Wierenga has to deal with. It also helps him sleep better, knowing the stock is up to date.

Elektro VV - The right expertise in the right placeRead moreElektro VV, based in the Belgian province of Antwerp, carries out general electrical work and solar panel installations for both companies and private individuals. For complex projects, the company calls on Breemes, which brings expertise such as low-voltage studies. “The challenge is to design a panel that can be built quickly and efficiently, and is future-proof.”

OI - Warm relationship with supplierRead moreThe O-I glass factory in Leerdam produces 3.5 million beer bottles every day. The challenge of keeping production running 24/7 is tackled together with trusted supplier itsme. They ensure that technicians never run out of stock during maintenance and that critical components like cables and sensors are heat-resistant. This makes life much more relaxed for supervisor Patrick Maduro and his team in the electrical engineering department.
