Danfoss
Danfoss, of Danish origin, has been developing and manufacturing technologies since 1933 that enable tomorrow's world to build a better future. Energy-efficient technologies enable communities and industries to create a healthier and more comfortable climate on land and on water and to provide more food with less waste.
Danfoss employs more than 40,000 employees worldwide for its Drives, Power Solutions and Climate Solutions business segments.
Danfoss Drives has been a global leader in speed control of electric motors using variable speed drives for more than 50 years. In addition, Danfoss also fully focuses on the energy transition by developing and manufacturing "power converters" that are applied in converting energy from e.g. wind turbines, solar panels, batteries and hydrogen.
Through continuous innovation, as well as cooperation with partners, such as itsme, we are building a low-carbon future. Frequency inverters are ideally suited for controlling the speed of electric motors to match the required load. Even small changes in motor speed can lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption.

Danfoss - Condition-based MonitoringRead moreDanfoss's intelligent AC drives provide early warning of downtime by collecting, evaluating and storing data from sensors. Results are made available in the cloud or locally, for predictive maintenance. This improves performance, efficiency and uptime, extends component life and reduces complexity. Installation is simple: the controller learns automatically or the user performs an identification run.

BMI - Providing Peace of Mind by Mapping DrivesRead moreAt RBB, the production of concrete roof tiles runs on drives that mostly come from Danfoss and are up to 20 years old. Breemes assessed their status and made recommendations for maintenance, replacement and standardisation. As a result, the supplier provided its customer RBB with higher efficiency in terms of spare stocks of drives and energy consumption in production - and ultimately a better night's sleep.

Sustainable from top to bottomRead moreOn the outskirts of Hengelo-Zuid tons of waste are given a new purpose each year. Through incineration, separation and composting, energy and raw materials are extracted and find their way back to society. With the heat that is released during incineration, Twence generates enough power to provide half of all households in the Twente \(region in the Eastern Netherlands\) with electricity. In order to guarantee the continuity of all the plants, operators carry out regular inspection rounds in the installations, so good visibility is important. In switching from fluorescent lighting to LED, Twence enlisted the help of itsme.

Kind Technologies optimises production flow Rittal enclosuresRead moreHow does an organisation ensure the transition from start-up to scale-up to go smoothly? For fast-growing Kind Technologies the answer partly lay in scalability: not only growing fast, but above all efficiently and smartly. Together with Rittal and itsme they took a closer look at the production process of their enclosures. By partially outsourcing the assembly work, the lead time has been reduced from four weeks to just one week.
