Eaton introduces new compact power supplies for industrial applications

Eaton is launching its next-generation PSG and PSL power supplies, specially designed to serve a wide range of industrial applications. The new PSG and PSL power supplies are flexible, reliable and economical. Thanks to their compact housing, you save valuable space in your control cabinet. The PSL line is the successor to the easyPower series. With it, Eaton is working towards one recognisable product family of high-performance power supplies.

Key features:

  • Adjustable output voltage range for optimal adjustment for your application (1 - 40 A)
  • Short-circuit and overload protection ensure reliable power supply
  • Aluminium and plastic enclosures
  • NEC Class II power supply
  • LED indication.

With currents from 1 to 40 A, the 1 and 3 phase PSL/PSG power supplies can power machines and systems, even when low and high powers are required. Besides the wide voltage range and approvals for worldwide use, the devices are distinguished by high efficiency and a wide temperature range. The touch-safe IP20 terminals make the PSL & PSG power supplies the perfect solution for 24 V DC applications.

To ensure a safe and reliable power supply, both series offer short-circuit and overload protection. The power supplies can deliver a 150 % power boost for up to 5 seconds and operate within a temperature range of -25 °C to +80 °C. Thanks to a robust aluminium or plastic housing, and an NEC® Class II rating, they are suitable for demanding environments.

The PSG and PSL power supplies are an important part of Eaton's comprehensive portfolio of power management solutions. They help customers optimise their power consumption and increase/increase the reliability and safety of their system or machine. Eaton offers a whole range of products and services for industrial applications, including circuit protection, motor control, power distribution, automation, energy storage and more.

Avebe - A Good Night’s Sleep Thanks to FactoryScan
Companies often have no clear idea of the installed base of industrial automation in their factories and warehouses. With FactoryScan, itsme can provide an overview of the current status of automation components such as PLCs. Potato processor Royal Avebe uses the results to update their component stock and assess future availability. The scan is intended to reduce the number of hardware-related disruptions Process Control Engineer Johan Wierenga has to deal with. It also helps him sleep better, knowing the stock is up to date.
